haul the mortally injured creature to the Portland Zoo. As they drive away, no one notices a
bigfoot cub climb onto the back of the truck and snuggle up to its dying mother.
When Carly finds the cub hiding in the garage, word quickly spreads that the Primate Center has
a Littlefoot. Will they put him in a cage, displayed like King Kong, or can Carly find a way to
return him to the wild? What happens when her plan backfires?
- THOMAS MACDONOUGH AND THE PIRATE PRINCE
How Caribbean Pirates Saved America Twice
Set against the backdrop of America’s second war with England, the War of 1812, this screenplay
is based on the true story of two unlikely friends, Thomas Macdonough, a young US Navy officer
and a famous French pirate, the dashing Jean Lafitte.
Shanghaied by press-gangs, they find themselves chained together in the brig of a British Man o'
War. Lafitte is sentenced to be hanged at dawn. Lafitte and Macdonough help one another
escape from the brig, and pledge to go to each other’s aid if the need should ever arise. It does.
Often.
From the Caribbean, to the shores of Tripoli, then up to Lake Champlain, and finally at the Battle
of New Orleans, their adventures intersect with both the villain British Captain, Sir George
Downie, and the hero of the Battle of Plattsburgh, General Macomb. Using sleight of hand, guts
and cunning, they outfight and outsmart the “Bloody British,” and save America twice.
- THE GREATEST GREEK
Suitable for animation
Accused of a crime he did not commit, the general who saves Greece from the Persian hoard is
banished for life. His property is confiscated, his family enslaved, and his name cannot be
spoken again under penalty of death.
There comes a time when four young boys, with a little help from the Oracle of Delphi, discover
the truth, rescue the general’s granddaughter from slavery, and stand in front of the Assembly
of Athens to shout the General’s name for everyone to hear.
The teenagers are not very different from youngsters we know today. In later years, they grew
to be extraordinary leaders. Pericles becomes "The Father of the Golden Age of Greece,”
Herotodus, a renowned historian, Cimon rises to command the Athenian Army, and Goras
develops many of our basic scientific and mathematical theories.
Though the story begins in modern times, The Boatman’s Child is set against the background
of ancient Athens, when the gods ruled the world from the summit of Mt. Olympus.
- THE KNIGHTS OF BARN CASTLE
Based on the real story of the Plattsburgh Boys
In early September of 1814, the British Empire launched the largest invasion ever attempted by
a foreign power against the mainland of the United States. It was a three-pronged operation,
attacking strategic American cities on the Gulf of Mexico, Chesapeake Bay and Lake Champlain.
When the might of the British Empire descends on the harbor town of Plattsburgh, New York, a
handful of American children led by Young Henry Averill and his sweetheart Katy O’Rourke, rally
to the defense of their country, changing the course of American history. At a critical point in
the Battle of Plattsburgh, they fort up a sawmill and stop the most powerful military force in
the world from crossing the Saranac River.
The youngest child was only nine, the oldest just sixteen. After the war, Congress awards them
presentation rifles for courage under fire, in those days equivalent to the Medal of Honor. They
are the youngest people in the history of the United States ever to receive such an award.
